yep - we just got a HUGE conservation grant from REI to buy tools for "conservation work" ~ that is, trail building. We'll be able to puchase many trail tools that you wouldn't have laying around the shop: mcloeds, clinometer, plus BOB with tool rack , cordless drills, gps and more. Needless to say we are pretty stoked.
Finishing up the ladder trail at Sekani is our #1 priority. Work parties are now on the calendar, scheduled into September on alternate Tuesday nights. Although conditions suck for dirt work, building is no problem.
