Variety in the Collective? It's all crap as far as I can tell.

How is there not infinite variety in Earthed? Everything from the Modern Lovers to ODB, Motorhead to the Cure and ACDC? Better yet it is music that people actually listen to outside of bike videos. I don't know a single person who owns a single album that was featured in most videos.

Earthed is pretty good. I like most of the music in NWD6, but I couldn't stand the song for Wayne Goss'es part.

edit: The music in Collective was okay, although really s l o w. I have some music from bike videos: Motorhead, AC/DC, Styles of Beyond, Lexicon, Swollen Members, ...

It's an old movie now, but Sprung 4 had a super cruisey soundtrack with lots of cool old songs. One girl I know used to play the movie just to listen to the soundtrack.

I have not seen too many bike movies, but I really liked the Pepper during the credits and the song in the last section, the black and white rainforest section. Rise Against was nice too.

It isn't a bike movie, but a snowboard one: some kinda life. It isn't the norm butt rock or cheesy hip-hop that is in bike/snow/etc films.

That said, Rankin and Porter have some pretty good choices in my book. Some is hit or miss, but much better overall than what most other films use.

Someone mentioned standard country, thats one I want to see because of a few good locals from days gone by.

NoWhere Fast has the BEST soundtrack of any bicycle movie. Not only are the grinding/pumping/carving sounds included, but Slayer has some sweet sections, as does Danzig, Motley Crue, Metallica and a bunch of other rad bands. Not any of it was licensed, either...

That god-awful Indian instrumental music in EVERY movie's intro, coupled with a slow motion panoramic fading into someone on a bike makes me want to puke. As does that cheapo soundtrack from Chainsmoke 1, 2 and Push.
