My favorite bike is only my favorite because it was stolen.

It was a 98 FSR Elite, with a Z1, Turbine LP's, etc. that I got when I was 18.

I worked my ass off to buy the frame and build up the parts. I have so many good memories about that bike. First 24 Hour Race, many many horrible crashes and hospital trips.

Then it got stolen in SF. Dammit.

If I had the cash, it would be either a Rocky Mountain Switch or a VP-Free.

My Kona Dawg is getting it done for now though. :)

I have to say a couple:
Santa Cruz Chameleon-can handle anything
Kona Stinky just plain rocks
Evil Soverign because it promises to be on of the best hardtails ever!

I am torn between two bikes. My Santa Cruz Superlight or a custom ti Racer X.
Ideally I would like a custom ti Superlight.

Ibis why not a 7
beacuse its my "elanor"

Ive attempted to get a larke silk ti for about 5 years now and 3 have fallen thru my hands.

besdes, 7 doesnt make a soft tail with nearly 2 inches of rear travel. no one does- what makes the silk ti special is the chain stays that are lazer cut flat stock that allow up n down movement (suspension) but less lateral pla than most other hard tails on the market.

the only bike close is the new castellano fango, which is an aluminum version currently in prodution, and welded by the same dude, john castellano.

(sorry- i do go overboard about this bike)
