wow I like to shake the hand of the HeRo that can pedal those wheels...they most weigh a freaking ton.

are those the Surly rims that have the big oval holes cut on the ineer wall..?
they look like the perfect rims for Alaska's snow but i wonder about riding something so wide in any other terrain, please explain how they feel and your overall experience.

Oh the bike looks super cool.

The bike rides smooth. Its geared 32/18 but feels more like 36/18.
On the flats it slow, the downhills its quick and it corners great.... Get this it climbs sweet.

And yes they are the large marge rims.

Just wating for the surly 3.7 tires to hit the market.

Bike rolls in at 30 lbs.

awesome great Job, make sure to take fotos when you get the mega tyres.

another question, is you frame "Special" to be able to fit such a wide tyre..?
or is a typical surly frame..
