Looking rather like Bernie's run was a planned spoiler attack by Putin to trash the democrat vote.
Now the waiting game to see if his chief strategist is about to be indicted or if he is one of the names that Muller asked to give immunity to.

Yeah I dunno about Bernie being a Russian sleeper agent.

I do however, remember Trump getting caught on camera walking off stage saying that he was hoping for Hillary as the opposition because he did not think he could beat Sanders.

    behind you, don't wait up.
I read that not as Bernie was crooked, but rather that his Strategist was. Maybe without his knowledge?

OTOH Sanders voted against Russia sanctions and also refused to release tax records...... And apparently has acquired a very expensive house.

Either way, the burn's chances of another Presidency run just went up in flames.

"I am strongly supportive of the sanctions on Russia included in this bill. It is unacceptable for Russia to interfere in our elections here in the United States, or anywhere around the world. There must be consequences for such actions. I also have deep concerns about the policies and activities of the Iranian government, especially their support for the brutal Assad regime in Syria. I have voted for sanctions on Iran in the past, and I believe sanctions were an important tool for bringing Iran to the negotiating table. But I believe that these new sanctions could endanger the very important nuclear agreement that was signed between the United States, its partners and Iran in 2015. That is not a risk worth taking, particularly at a time of heightened tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia and its allies. I think the United States must play a more even-handed role in the Middle East, and find ways to address not only Iran's activities, but also Saudi Arabia's decades-long support for radical extremism."

The problem was, that the sanctions bill, as written at the time, was for Russia, Iran, and North Korea, all in one bill. You couldn't vote in favor of sanctioning two countries without sanctioning the the third. Sometimes nuance counts.

    No.

You've been reading too much Faux news.

All that said; the optics on the "Tad Devine, Paul Manafort and a Russian connected to Putin" are pretty bad if that story in fact holds water. There is some compelling evidence to suggest at this point that the Green Party/Jill Stein Campaign of 2016 was given some Russian "assistance".
