A woman body builder who's not using steriods will never get freakish looking, unless she's stripped her body fat down for competition. At a normal, non-competing weight she will look pretty darn good (ala Cory Everson these days)
ALL body builders look freakish when they're ready to compete because the point is to see the muscle, so male or female doesn't much matter, they all look like a big side of beef.
When I was lifting in the 80's, my hero was Gladys Portugese. Unfortunately, she seems to be most widely remembered as being one of Jean Claude Van Damme's wives.
