Hey look another thing to be completely pedantic about! I’ve been playing around with some different fenders on my new fangaled big wheel. I run a fender year round for the most part (yea I’m that guy) mostly to protect the dust wipers, I’ve found it helps them to last maybe a little longer. So far I’ve tried a hacked up Syncros fender (cut to get it to play nice with the 2021 36) I liked the bolt on idea but this fender had the least amount of coverage and absolutely no protection for the seals... then I switched to my tried and true marshguard, this thing has the best coverage imo but... zip ties. So I ordered the Fox fender, the most fiddly install of the lot, it requires you to remove the air bleeders off the fork, mounts there and to the 2 cast threads on the arch, the pros are it has great coverage and is very secure but the cons are, the install and still not great coverage for the seals... anyone tried one of these yet??

yea, marshguads use zip ties but they are cheap and always work.

then again, I just found my old THE fender from the early 00's and part of me wants to put it on my megatrail because LOL

The Manitou one for the Mezzer is a pretty clean install and has solid coverage, but it's not stiff enough and the front flaps into the tire and makes a bunch of noise. Come to think of it, I should try just cutting the front part off.

I've mostly run DIY Marsh Guards that I make out of a big sheet of plastic I bought ages ago for about $10

You also once sent me a frame with a PBR headtube badge. Which was fastened with zipties.

Yea the marsh guard is the best which is surprising to me since it’s so simple. I wanted to try something bolt on because well there’s threads there but so far it’s not been worth the hassle.
