had a BIG skate/blade/bmx comp at the park sunday.
I did pro and held my own, but top 5 were killing it.

all i got were some amature pics, I bet i can find
some of me this week as they pop up.
I did the b/w bikes jumping shirt for a local
shop then got some riders for them. came out good.
maybe its just me but the shirts are easy to spot.

Cool pics, and I like the shirts. Call me a nerd but that's the first time I've seen dudes in a comp without helmets. I just don't get it.

Not that I care. I'm def not a helmet Nazi. But, it's odd that helmets weren't required for the comp. Especially in a concrete park. Are helmets required there normally?

no isurance, so no rules. i don't know how the kid promoters
got away with it really. i wore mine for sure!

price was riding good. but 50/50 this stepup once.

I've only ridden a cement park a couple of times, got kicked out for poaching... but it was so flowy compared to the bolt together crap parks.
I too am surprised that the contest got under way without requiring a helmet... These were shot in the United States of America, right? haha...

Yep... I'm surprised I did well... Got 4th place out of about 10 amazing BMX'ers. I didn't try one spin and still got top 5. I'm pretty proud of myself.

I'll never figger out the anti-lid thing. To me, it's like body armor in a DH race, if it makes you feel safer and able to ride harder, isn't it a GOOD thing? That, and I've hit my head. It fvcking sucks and I get REALLY pissed. And no one ever answers that damn phone...
