No century. I hope to feel up to the hill climb after the 76 miles. I would like to see gradients too. I have never done a century, but don't want to in the mountains yet.

Whoa - I sucked on the hill climb. I was 734 (no name), but I did make it with only 3 stops on the hard stuff. Remember, I live at about 500 ft with few hills. I rode 20 miles on Friday, 10 up, and 10 down, 75 miles on Saturday, and then did a little 3 mile warmup before the hill climb. I am fatter than ever, and I was beat. It was hard, but I did better this year. I wish I had my 27 tooth cassette that weekend, but did not. All in all, I am fairly pleased. I was not racing, just trying to do better than last year, which I did. Here are the results.

Congo Rats on beating your time!

You do look tired... where was that? Describe the climb.
It's the last 7 miles of this climb.

Holy crap that's big. Sorry.

Hmmm... All I ever remember of Texas when I lived there was it being flat.
