Finally got around to putting some Stans in. Installed in Maxxis Minion 2.5 42duro non-UST tires on Mavic 823 rims. Was a bit difficult to seat bead with my crappy hand pump (use a compressor if at all possible), but I got it. I found the how-to video on Stans website quite usefull. There were a couple tips that weren't in the text version. I found when attempting to seat the bead, and there were air leaks around the bead (evidenced by the soapy water bubbles) to rotate the wheel so that point is at the bottom, then shake the wheel back and forth, similar to the description in the video on how to coat the sidewalls This seemed to get a bit of sealant on the bead itself, allowing it to retain enough air to seat. The rest went easily, following the video directions. Patients, and a couple of beers is the key. Can't wait to go ride, though I think I'll leave the spare tube and pump in the CamelBack...
