what wore out on your Birks?

just about everything about those hippy shoes (birks) is replaceable by a good shoe fixer guy.

The sole had a hole worn through and I was walking on cork and leather (which was wearing out really fast), the leather and cork was nearly worn through on the big toe, a good part of the leather was held on to the cork with gorrilla glue. No shoe repair man would have taken the job... however, they are still functional and WILL be worn completely to the ground before they are thrown out.

However, the keens are nice, I'm liking them
