Looks like they've done quite a bit of work since the early drawings and protos. Like the colors or not, it's a team race bike, so it's in the team colors

Correction, Yeti should start to make a beefed up Straight 6. It only got 5.5" of travel anyway and it rode so nice...

Looks like too much technology for so little development time.

Do you know how much they had spent on developing? Nor do I.

btw you talk about the colors, as you were girls.

not the color makes you faster :sneaky:

I wonder what the stand-over on that frame is, looks pretty tall to me. What kind of travel at the rear does that thing have? 10"?

Wonder if the trains gonna derail. Wouldn't wanna be on it when it does. Those bearings have a lot of gnar to deal with. Seems like a desperate attempt to make something different but will likely be hindered by the constructs of its design. I would never buy a yeti simply because of the colors. You would always have to answer to "who's gay bike is that?"

As per the website...

Standover height is 30.5/31" depending on BB height setting and I think the travel is 9" maybe its 10"???

I rode that bike on sunday (literally the bike the picture was taken with) and it was amazing. You've probably heard it before but this bike corners like you could never imagine. And it stays glued to the ground not to mention the Fox 40 on the front. Best frame and fork combo ever. Can't wait to get mine.

I rode the pro-type 303 back to back with a production DH9 at Keystone. I took 3 top to bottm laps on the 303 and 2 or 3 on the DH9. That run has just about everything on it and is about 10 mins, so I had a good chance to ride the bike. I felt the 303 outperformend the DH9 in all categories: cornering, pedaling, sharp hits, g-outs, and stiffness. All around I felt a lot faster on the 303.

Dont listen to Brendon, he spends way too much time from riding with his new girlfriend. girls have cudies. unless they are 17

Thats why you have to put them in their place. Mine wonders why I'm always working cough cough riding cough, yet never have money to blow on her.

What about noise? Did it sound like you were being chased downhill by an active filing cabinet?

But his bike doesn't have rails. Filing cabinets do, and therefore are likely to find their aural brethren underneath team yeti.......with the ugly ass paint jobs.
"aural"...our word for the day is "aural"....
Teacher - "Timmy can you use it in a sentence?"

Timmy - "My sister says she's still a virgin cause she only does aural."

The proto was actually very quiet, but it used a slightly different rail system. I still wouldn't want my fingers anywhere near it when it was moving.

Which brings up the question of riding in gravel. Maybe they're tough enough to just pulverize and leave a cool cloud of dust?

"Oh man, My 303 just did an Amtrak!!"

well if they did it right, it'd be like worrying a piece of gravel would jam your fork

I noticed the tube front end was gone also, but remember it is much easier to make tube prototypes than making new mono pieces everytime you want to make a change.

LMFAO....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA i just blew lasagna out my nose. thats focking hilarious.

On topic. I will be riding for yeti and im extremely anxious to get on this bike and put it through its paces. i have every confidence that a company like yeti isnt going to drop a tried and true design for something new if they werent totally convinced that it is superior in every way. from the inside sources i know it sounds like this bike is just that. Superior. If your that upset with the colors dont look at ur bike when u ride it and start looking at the trail. I personally like the retro color look but the top tube is going the take some getting used to. but look at what ppl said about the V-10 when the new design came out...now all i see is v-10 bike porn.

Rant over. want a dh bike...that one will suffice.

so rails seem to be a common theme with that bike... because it corners like it is on rails.

and the "cars" have got dust wipers. not boots, why boots, boots suck. wipers replaced boots. wipers are superior and good.

believe me i know from experience dude.

Right now the only person I know who has actually ridden all three of those bikes is Krispy. I'll try and get him to post on here at some point today, or you can shoot him an email at krispy@go-ride.com .

Yeesh, ridden an M3, Sunday, and a 303...! You go-ride dudes get to ride everything and fondle all the new stuff, and I'm starting to hate you for that. Of course, hate is the sincerest form of jealousy.
