Not to be too much of a sceptic (as I have no time to read this right now, maybe later on tonight though) - but how is he communicating through the internet if they have no power and the cell phone repeaters, phone lines, and even the police ban radios(per some reports) are not working?
they have a back up diesel electric generator. OC3 lines are typically fiber optic. as long as you got power to shoot your lasers and the lines are intact...you're golden
Yep, I have people in NO that are communicating via internet. They also have Deisel Gens at a datacenter
The site is legit.
Not to pick nits, but that isn't actually "live"..............
all i see is empty Poydras(?) street....it could be a still for all i know.
but yes, good link & crazy stuff.
Maybe they are just trying to do their job and survive:
"A police officer working in downtown New Orleans said police were siphoning gas from abandoned vehicles in an effort to keep their squad cars running.
The officer said police are "on their own" for food and water, scrounging up what they can from anybody who is generous enough to give them some -- and that they have no communication whatsoever. Police also told CNN they were removing ammunition from looted gunshops in an effort to get it off the streets."
So so horrible, I feel so damn useless too. Local grocery store is taking donations, threw them some bucks buying beer. Too little too late.
I can't beleive they are turning away military helicopters because someone ****tard is shooting at them. Isn't that what they are designed and trained for?
