Green Mountain Trails is in general fun.

You could also drive up an hour or so to Waitsfield to hit the MRV trails, or hook up with the boys at Green Mountain Bike for shuttle runs in Rochester. They do early group ride on week-ends. Climbing to the top cabin in PIttsfiled on a Firebird should be "interesting"

I'm sticking to the immediate Killington area, I will be DH-ing in the afternoon at the resort, so I won't have much drive time available.

Yeah, but not a soul killer.
