So, I was about to put on my new Pike Team and a bunch of other parts last week... My bike needed a little love so I decided to take it apart and lube everything. I took off my MRP and noticed a crack on the chainstay wide enough to see through!
I took it to the local K2 dealer to send it off, and I'm waiting to see what they say. The guy I left it with said I'm probably S.O.L. because "to do that much damage (I) would need to hit it with a car." and that "They only cover normal wear and tear." blah

keep your fingers crossed for me because I can't afford a frame right now.

You mean a K2 trail bike will not hold up to the rigors of Windrock.

Dude that sucks donkey shlong. I have a frame you can use but you might have to cut your legs off at the shins to fit it.

if I will be buying a new frame this summer, I'll be looking at a Specialized SX Trail or an Enduro Pro.

Shoot, if you wanna look at what work, school, and no riding does to a body search no longer. I am wasting away to one huge Crown Royal infused gut.

A buddy of mine got an enduro pro and he is really stoked on it.

i got my K2 frame back with a new chainstay! yesssss... but it's too late. I ordered something better. anyone want to buy a "hardly used" K2 frame?

FedEx's tracking system said Tuesday is going to rule for me. I'll take some porn pictures for you guys.
