One of the Danish newspapers I check online will not let me enter their site with ad blocker installed. Is this a new trend? Anything to do about it besides uninstalling adblocker or just open the page in IE.

One of the Danish newspapers I check online will not let me enter their site with ad blocker installed. Is this a new trend? Anything to do about it besides uninstalling adblocker or just open the page in IE.

You can check the filter for the site and edit it under add-ons and click on adblock plus, options.

You could also temporarily disable adblock if that does not work and install noscript and then only enable the scripts from the site itself - none of the ad partners.

If they're really not letting people in if they have an ad block of some sort I say f**k 'em.

Yup. Flash and scripts don't run unless I allow them. It is a good thing.

No problem for me either... except they apparently write their stories in some incomprehensible language.

Its most likely becaused I have the Adblocker filter for Denmark installed and you do not.

You can remove just that filter subscription... that'll probably work, eh?
