You'd have more than that - you'd have a shot at normal relations with these places. Beneficial trade in both directions, and a huge, hot-year-round exotic destination to visit once again.

I don't know if we can ever expect peace. No one's ever had peace in human history, so we should probably accept a state of eternal conflict, and just focus on our next objective.
I've had peace all my life - you aren't exactly living on the West Bank, are you? - But whatever, there will probably be some sort of conflict happening somewhere, but starting extra ones just to line neocon pockets and futher their evil agenda is unforgivable and stupid.
