I did my first (new skool) DH ride, after 10yrs since my old skool dh days...
I AM STOKED!!!!!!! ok i did small runs in the past couple of years, but yesterday we went to a REAL course in Chipsop UK which was featured iirc in Sprung2. According to some UK racers this is one of the tougher UK courses. I had a blast at berms, root/rock gardens and i attempted my 1st speed jump.... i endo landed it... and my Z1 saved my ass... i just couldnt believe that i didnt crash it, the fork sucked up everything and i rolled off the endo safe and sound. More practice to be had soon, but hey, i made a start at least.
There where 2-3 big drops and 2 gaps. The biggest drop was around 30ft and some guys pulled no handers at it!!!!!, i rode around it needless to say. But boy...i do need a bigger bike... the SX was too "little" for the course .
