Hey Monkeys,

Well, I posted a few days ago about getting a road bike, looking for pointers. Today I picked up my Pilot 2.1, and even though is was still almost 90 degrees as 7:30, I went for a ride. Only about 8 miles, but a lot of fun. This is a very different workout but I feel like I can turn those skinnies all day! Fortunately I have a housing development less than 1/4 mile away with ENDLESS roads that are very forgiving with little traffic so I can get the feel of the road bike.

This is gonna be awesome having a great MTB and a great Road Bike!

Sounds good - congrats on the purchase. Them skinnies roll soooo smoothly, don't they? If you've got the right gearing, you can in deed spin them all day long.

Did you post pics of the new ride and I just missed it?

Enjoy the ride. I really hope to start doing more days of 20 - 30 each week.
