Actually, the official world record 22 pounder was caught(and kept) by George Perry in GA in 1932. The unofficial world record is THIS behemoth 25 pounder caught in CA earlier this year.Thats some pretty big bass, i saw a 22 pounder (world record) in a tank in texas, about 8 years ago.

The 25#er is the 3rd pic and the first two were mondo catches from the same CA lake, Lake Dixon.
