heh. we're still living in separate cities 20 miles apart due to our respective jobs and commutes, so she'd already departed for her northerly village.

i got a 278 just now! woke up from a nap and played a game and apparently the luck and concentration was good. i'm getting a lot more triple digit scores, 110s to 150s or so. average is now up to 63 and just under 12000 planes landed.

You're a damn freak of nature. Granted, I don't play it a lot, but the best I've mustered is 92, and that was pretty much a fluke where I was getting a lot of well-placed entries onto the screen (i.e. small planes coming in near the small runway, helicopters up near the top, etc.)

now i'm at 332. thought that was pretty hot stuff until i saw that there was a new version of flight control available on the app store… with a global leaderboard.

turns out that 332 isn't cutting the mustard except in the bush leagues! while i'm #4 in the pac nw i'm nowhere in the running worldwide. #1 and 2 are at ~3200 and ~2950, for reference. dude.

i would bet it looks the same at any particular time, as it's not like you land all 14,000 planes at once. the most planes i've had on screen at any one time is 16, and that's been a stable maximum basically since the first week. (i was at 15 for a while.)

there's supposed to be a new version soon with new planes and new runways…
