Do any of you feel the BB height is too low..I am running 170mm cranks and always seem to be hitting them ....I even have my 888 raked out and still seems to low.

i hit every now and then in 8 inches, but i also ride in the southeast were we have nothing better to put in our trails then Crazy rock gardens.
14 7/8 seems really high. mine is like 14 and a quarter and i couldnt imagine it being higher. i like low bikes.
When I had my Fly, I had 170mm cranks as well. Only on occaision would I hit stuff (i'm not the smoofest rider out there) - and its rooty out here in the PacNW.
Like Kanter asked, what's your BB height right now?
OOPPS. I take that back. The BB height was 14 7/8. Now that I have the low rider crowns on, the BB height is 14 1/2. It is perfect now. The lowrider crowns make it feel better. I just put EC 70 bars on with 1.25 rise. I did have Protapers with 2" rise. The lower bars seem to feel a little better too.

I run a 888 on mine with the factory crowns, and I seem to be ok in the bb height area...I run 175s for cranks...although I just got my 170 Diabolus put on:devil: :devil: :devil:
