So I got media player 1000 or whatever...Now I can't convert all my audio sh!it to mp3's. yeah I was stupid like that. So now i'm in teh process of re-burning all my cd's.

Use Exact Audio Converter (I think that's the name, I'm not on my laptop to check) for better quality and more options.

Media players and ripping CDs? There are a million solutions. Hell, if you really need I'll send you a download link to a great ripper. Or follow Rob's suggestion. Or uninstall Win Media Player.
