Woman killed after darting on Hwy. 101

(06-21) 09:08 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- A woman darting in and out of traffic lanes on southbound Highway 101 was killed Tuesday night after she was struck by several vehicles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the accident occurred at 10:20 p.m. just south of Silver Avenue. Several cars struck the victim, identified only as a 35-year-old San Francisco woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident caused the freeway to be temporarily shut down while authorities investigated the incident.
