I am on the list to buy a 2007 Hummer H3X

Sweet......

Should have it sometime in Oct.

Hate away
Enjoy paying ridiculous gas prices in your overpriced, pickup truck body based POS.

Seriously, if you need a penis extension, get a surplus HUMMV. You know, a vehicle that is actually worthy of it's ridiculously ugly looks.

I'm sorry to hear that. Why not get a Tahoe and cut out the middle man?
I thought the H3 was based off the Colorado/Canyon mid-size truck platform??? While I have no love for SUVs some get better gas mileage than cars most of us would consider quite cool. The physical therapist I saw for 6 weeks last year got an H3. It is quite a bit smaller than the H2.

A real Humvee bought from surplus would rock.

There are a bunch of them up here. The first one I saw, I thought I was looking at an H2, just farther away. They're more akin to a jeep liberty than the H2 size-wise. Still a showpiece more than a vehicle.

They have locking rear differentials at least.

yeah - its not that big. It's about the size of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I drive the truck that its based on...decent truck.

I just couldn't pay the premium for the hummer name.

Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,
smells like a steak and seats thirty-five..

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown!

Canyonero! (Yah!) Canyonero!

The Federal Highway comission has ruled the
Canyonero unsafe for highway or city driving.

Canyonero!

12 yards long, 2 lanes wide,
65 tons of American Pride!

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

Canyonero! Canyonero! (Yah!)

She blinds everybody with her super high beams,
She's a squirrel crushing, deer smacking, driving machine!

Canyonero!-oh woah, Canyonero! (Yah!)

Drive Canyonero!

Woah Canyonero!

Woah!

Don't forget to wash you hands when you're finished. If ridemonkey has taught me nothing else to day I've learned that bacterial infections are no laughing (fecal) matter.

The body style is kind of neato in that Tonka Truck kind of way but I've heard they give up lots of interior space as compared to similar-sized trucks - true?

And for your sake I hope the delivery estimate is more reliable than bike companies...first time they say "two weeks" you know what to do!!

I think they are. But the Tahoe would give you everything you gain in interior room that the H3 gives you, and I am betting the Tahoe would do better (still not great) for gas milage being less "brick like".

Not to mention the MSRP of a Tahoe might be a bit less too.

The H2/H3 trucks suck off road. The Tahoe has a fighting chance with after market support and a solid platform that lends itself to be built for off road use.

Errr, and that's a good thing? Vehicles get you from Point A -> Point B. Big deal. Get a used Tacoma and save enough to buy a(nother) new bike.

The only sentence I'd want to hear "ton" and "money" together in begins with, "Your new Yeti 303..." or "Your new house...". Preferably both. :oink: :D
