Did The Loop again today. Actually saw one other human in the parking lot at the start and one more human near the lot when we returned.
Also saw a MONSTER bull elk about halfway down the singletrack. Also saw numerous deer, and of course the rabbits. Everywhere were the rabbits.
Was a little chilly right at the beginning, but the climb took care of that quickly - left the windbreaker on for the whole ride, though.
Grass/flowers are knee deep in places, and because the singletrack is ~10 inches, I got lots of close encounters with the grassy kind....... If I'd been able to close my eyes I could've imagined myself in Crested Butte in high summer.
8 miles of goodness and I was at my desk showered by 7:15.
