Seriously though. Proper prep from the factory would have taken care of this. Wonder if it’s actually a deeper issue like improper storage, poor materials, etc.

Rust is everywhere on exercise equipment. Time and heavy usage aka drippy sweat will destroy aluminum, steel, whatever. I took it as a point of pride the grungier my spin bike got.
