Dang thats the best news I have had all week, so far to date I have $8323 in tax credits coming my way woohooo!
Remember - tax credits are a dollar-for dollar reduction of your taxes. $1 credit = $1 less on your taxes.
Deductions reduce your taxable income. (so if you're in the 28% tax bracket, then a $1 deduction saves you 28 cents.)

At one point I was getting an extra $1400 a month from my company when they had me driving a lot. The extra dough was cool, but a 2-3 hour commute home was pretty bad. Riding after work was always out of the question...
