I don't care for HTs that much but had the opportunity to take a new 05 KHS Cro-mo hardtail out for a spin. Nice build on a very nice frame that I actually like. Check it out in the PNW forum :thumb: :thumb:

Veeeeeery nice looking! The beefy steel hardtail market just keeps getting better and better; tons of non-custom options.

I like the front gussetting; reminds me of why I've always liked the looks of Dekerf Implants.

yeah those look nice. steel hts are the way to go. that woulld be a sweet all round frame or if it comes smaller it could be a djer. i like my draco though
Funny you would mention it could be a djer as that particular frame model is called the "DJ 200" if I'm not mistaken. Oh and that is not the smallest size. I was very impressed with how it handled in my brief spin and the welds and tube fab are beautiful. I've recently been enlightened on a few other 05 offerings from KHS and I think they are pushing to the highend for 05. Very nice stuff comming....... wait and see! :thumb: :thumb:

I'm guessing it's an Azonic-esque frame? A rather .243-like head gusset too... So many steel hardtails on the market, I don't know what to do with myself

How come KHS makes such niiiice steel hard-and soft-tails, but their full-squish bikes seem to suck on a scale of such epic proportions??? I don't get it...

This is being fixed......no more KHannondale DH for starts. Look for a more common suspension (proven) design and a very reliable (durable) fab this year on the big squish bike. All other squishies are also improved and soon to show in the next month or so.

LB the Draco looks sweet. So far I'm still likin' the KHS. I changed the stem to a little shorter one from Planet X. My son is after me to get him the small frame but he already has an Identiti ht in his stables.
