In the business I am leaving we have some outsourced products from both China and Mexico.

That brings some really funny translations. You can see what people mean in emails, but they don't always come out that way.

In a request as to whether we would attend a trade show in Beijing we responded we would not be there. The nice Chinese lady tried to say that she understood. Instead she said, "It doesn't matter. I'll see you when you next come to China".

Today a guy from Mexico City tried to say he owed us an answer on a question. Instead he said, "I know I still own you, but will have to wait until later today".

It's just pretty funny when it happens and it's not just on some random website to laugh at.
