Red Sox Fans for Truth | September 16, 2004 | Jim Riley

We have seen John Kerry taken on by "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" and now "Football Fans for Truth." Well, we can't stand by any longer and watch our favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, be used as a tool by John Kerry when he is nothing more than a faux fan, a poser of the worst degree. An excerpt from a Peter Gammons ESPN.com article below is a good start at learning about Kerry's lifetime of lies purporting to be a Red Sox fan. As a result, we have founded "Red Sox Fans for Truth" to expose John Kerry's long pattern of deception regarding his supposed love of the Boston Red Sox. We in Red Sox Nation will expose these bold faced lies and make sure that Red Sox Nation helps turn the nation's electoral map red for George W. Bush on November 2nd!!! We are in a crucial struggle for the heart and soul of our nation's passtime.

News and notes

So who puts the bug in candidates' ears about seeming what they are not? John Kerry last week professed to be a big fan of "Manny Ortez," then re-emphasized the phoofery by correcting it to "David Ortez." No, that was Dave (Baby) Cortez and "The Happy Organ." A few years back Kerry went on a Boston station with Eddie Andelman and said "my favorite Red Sox player of all time is The Walking Man, Eddie Yost," who never played for the Red Sox.

Bush did so well with the Texas Rangers that when he went up for election for baseball commisioner he lost to Bud Selig. If anyone doesn't understand baseball Bud Selig is the owner of the Milwaukee Brewers (don't even say that he doesn't own it his daughter does, c'mon don't insult anyone's intelligence here...).

Let's see what place the Milwaukee Brewers are in (they're in the NL central division) what you'll find is par for the course...

Then let's investigate what place the Texas Ranger are in now that they are not owned by George Bush.
