So - I'm going to get a KM and run it SS for a while. Two questions though
1) I looked for but could not definitively find the geo that the KM is designed around for the front fork. I assume it's 80mm? Rigid is not in my near future, so looking for the squish up front.
2) Do I need a tuggnut for the rear end? The one thing I'm not clear on with the horizontal dropouts is how to secure that rear wheel. I was planning on using some Salsa skewers, long handle on them so I can crank them down. Should I use a 10mm axle. If I do that - how do I convert a normal XT hub? I imagine there are 6mm bolt on skewers which would work as well?
I have a 26" SS now with a drop out, but it's running a magic gear and a basic QR so that is easy. The horizontal rear end has me baffled.
