I have a 2004 Turner DHR with a 2004 Boxxer World Cup.
The standard bumpers don't even come close to the frame before the top crown hits. I've tried to put some rubber cubboard stoppers on the frame but after one fall the corners of the top crown cut through the stoppers. Also, my turning radius sucks ass with this set up.
Are there aftermarket crowns that will clear the frame? Or perhaps is there a cheaper was to solve this? I was thinking I could maaybe space the upper crown up, but I don't think I have enough stanchoin length..
What do you DHR/Boxxer runners do?

Try a search in the downhill forum. Lots of guys there run DHRs with boxxers. I'm assuming you don't have enough stanction tube to have a flat crown on there right?

I was able to throw in a bigger spacer underneath the crown and still have some stanchion left for the top crown to grab onto. So now the top crown baarrreely clears the top tube and the original Boxxer bumpers are doing their job.
