Hey, I got a hardtail which says can go to a 160mm fork (Jackal). I want to get a new fork that is 180mm, since I am turning it into a DH/FR rig. I know it wont be a problem with strength, but what will it do to the geometry?

Will it feel strange, or what (or will it feel comfortable)?

    Any information would be great.
    Thanks

Get a dh or freeride bike if thats what you want to do. Keep a fork shorter than 100mm on your jackal.

Putting a 180mm fork on a Jackal will just be stupid, it will throw the Geometry all outta whack.

Go back to the drawing board.
