Im thinking about picking up an 80mm white bros magic 29 fork and am trying to figure out how much taller it is over my factory fork. Anyone have dimensions? My current fork is the stock redline monocog fork.
thanks....
Don't know about your Monocog fork but I believe it is suspension corrected. Here's the White Bros web page with specs on the Magic 80.
Note that suspension corrected takes static sag into account. Figure 20mm sag for the typical 80mm travel fork (most notably the Reba) and the typical suspension corrected rigid fork has an a-c of about 465 to 470mm.
I'd say that'd be a good fork for a Monocog. Might also want to search to see if you could find a used Reba - might be a very good match as well and it might save you a buck or two.
