I'm going to be buying a fork today and I'm looking for some recommendations.
My options are to put my talas on the SS and buy a new trailbike fork from my Yeti, or leave the talas on the yeti and buy a fork for my SS.
Option 1:
Take the 04 talas off my 575, move it to my SS, and buy a new fork for the 575. Recommend me a new fork for my yeti - something in the 5-6" travel range, adjustable travel is a must, as is a traditional QR (no maxles, thru-axles, etc.). Oh, and it can't be a fox.
Option 2:
Leave the talas on my 575 and buy a fork for the SS (Surly 1x1). Recommend me a 80-100mm fork for the Surly. Again, can't be a fox.
I'm not looking for recommendations about which option I should take - ultimately budget and fork availability will determine that. I'm simply looking for fork recommendations in each option. I haven't paid much attention to forks (especially Marz and RS) lately, so I'm not sure what's good on the market right now.
Thanks.
