My forks are in dire need of a service, however im currently living in france and my stendec suspension grease is back in the uk. My question is, can I use regular grease (blue mobil 1, decent quality grease) to grease the inside of the dust seal, or will normal grease react with fork oil, or be too thick or something....?

I think just plain old grease works fine bud.

I use Slick Honey, but I dont know if you can get that there. I dont know, but if you get a grease with a lower viscosity (like the viscosity of Vaseline), I would think you could use that in a jam.
