I need suggestions for a fork for a 62cm frame. Its a 1" steerer, I am hoping to go threadless. I am not extremely picky about aluminum or carbon, but I would prefer carbon. 700c wheel size.
Not exactly what you want... but I had a older Cannondale road bike that I coverted to threadless (was 1" threaded and now 1" threadless) - I bought a Profile Caron BRC fork with Aluminum steerer. With a small diameter steerer made of aluminum it flex a bunch. Especially noticable by others in indoor trainer workouts. When stand and really pushing a big gear you could see the bars moving sided to side some and front to back some (as my weight bounced on the bars). I never felt worried about it breaking - just was flexy. I worked out VERY nice on cruddy roads for shock absorbtion. But just keep that in mind. Overall I liked it and for the money I thought it was a good upgrade!
