I have a 1995 GT Zaskar LE (ridgid) that has been sitting in my garage since I left the UK in 2001. We have recently been reunited and I'm really enjoying riding it again. It is as super light, super fast as strong as I remember it. I would like to add some light weight forks to the front of the bike, perhaps some Rock Shox World Cup SID. Will I have any problems with the stem, headset or anything else trying to fit these forks to an older bike like mine? Anyone got any advice?!

Since it is from 1995, it should be the 1 1/8" standard so as long as is a threadless steerer you should be fine. Axle to crown height is going to be the biggest issue -- nothing bigger than 80mm of travel. Well maybe brakes if you have cantilevers -- they would have to be changed.
