Fox 36 Lowers

Thanks for trying to help but I already checked the common MTB classifieds, ebay, and google shopping. Nothing. I'm gonna call Fox tomorrow from my shop for their price on new lowers and axle. I was just hoping someone would magically find a set that my googling missed.

kinda surprised that there wasnt any on PB..

oh and how does one crack a lower? dropouts? crown? i also read something about cracking a 40 lower not too long ago. have never herd of that up until that point.

Yeah I think on the older ones it was pretty easy to over tighten the bolts on the axle and crack the drop outs a bit.

But you are obviously not in Europe. Maybe check with Cambria, they seem to have a lot of Fox parts on their website.

Probably not endorsed by the surgeon general, but I rode my old 36 for several years with a crack in the clamp area, with no issues. In fact, the fork may see life again on suboptimus's hardtail.
Hopefully that dropout won't pop off on a lander resulting in tens of thousands of $$$ in hospital bills.;)
