Does anyone have the 2007 or 2008 Fox 36 Talas fork?
If you do, could you please tell me how does the travel adjust work? because I read that it can be reduced from 160mm to 130mm to 100mm, but I wanted to make sure that it was true... is it more or less like the rock shox travel adjusting system?

Yes. There is a knob with 3 settings, 160mm - 130mm - 100mm. Adjustable on the fly.
