Anyone ever turned a talas into a coil fork? I am trying on a Talas RC2 and it won't extend past 155mm of stanchions showing w/ the coil internals dropped in.

2010 talas, 2008-9 van, both forks are 160mm.
The damper will let the fork extend to over 170mm of stanchion showing if the other leg is empty. That's not the problem.
