Hi,
I've got the older style 40's with the compression at the bottom. Is it a straight swap for a fit cartridge with compression on top ? I'm thinking of swapping over to the inverted cartridge, I'm thinking it should be but want to be sure before I order one. Any help ?

what year is the fork chassis? the only generation i'm unsure of fit cart compatibility is the very first generation with the gray lowers. other than that yes i believe it's a straight drop in for the cart.

i have an '08 40. i went with an avy cart over the fit cart and have been very happy with it.

I've got 2011's I think. White lowers, I might give it a try.
