I picked up a demo bike @ Diablo last weekend. I noticed there was about half and inch of dead travel at the top of the fork. You needed to pull on the fork to see this. Anyway when I took the spring out of the left fork the plunger shaft was broken in two. My question is is something like this covered under warranty? If so what is the process to get this repaired. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd be tempted to contact the Diablo people and get them to sort it for you in this case.

Any paperwork signed or such when you bought the bike?
