I used search, but didn`t come up with anything useful.
I`m waiting for my my 40 RC2, and as you all know, it has adjustable travel. Could someone who owns this fork tell me, that does adjusting the travel have an affect to fork`s axle-to-crown lenght?

Info on it`s weight is also welcome, as everyone seems to have different weight for it... so far I`ve heard from as low as 2,8 kg to "official" 3,2 kg.
Thanks.

Havent heard or seen anything on that but i did see how to adjust the preset rebound * i think* when we visited the Fox place back in January. I found it very intresting how that fork works, and will def be buggin a customer of mine whos got 2 on the way to let me rip one apart. Its awsome what those guys do with the forks. Really found the F80X and F100X forks interesting as well.

Id imagine making it less travel tho would reduce your axle to crown by whatever your changing it to tho.

Also your gonna love that fork, also in Jan i got to ride around Brandon's Demo 8 the guy at Specialized ( We were there for SBCU)hes got a 40 in it and that whole set up is SAHWEEEEEET !

The travel reduction reduces the fork's A-C height.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a travel reducer that doesn't do that

It'd be pretty silly to have a 6" travel fork that's the same height as an 8" travel one!

Thanks for the info. I wrote earlier to Fox, and got the same answer from them. Now I don`t have to stay up all night thinking that is my Uzzi going to be a chopper. :)

Yeah, I`ve already read that manual, but didn`t find info on that a-to-c thingy. :) Now it`s just waiting for the fork to arrive...
