Today I was putting my wheels on right before a ride and when I tightened down one of the pinch bolts on the axle, the bolt head sheared off leaving just the threads. Awesome. How do I get it out without damaging the brand new lowers I just got (the odd thing was the bolts came with the new lowers from Fox less than 6 months ago and I didn't go crazy torquing the thing or anything like that). I know I can use a bolt extracor but the threads are pretty far recessed now that the bolt head is missing...

The torque spec on those bolts is TINY. You went way overboard if you broke one.

Left hand drill. It will spin right out.
My rule on these is to use the short arm of the hex wrench. Anything tighter is too tight.

I think it's 6 Nm on my 888.
