Hi guys

I´ve got 2 Fox 40s home, ready to install one of them.
One got an Blue Ti spring. - for persons 150 – 180 lbs
Second got an Green Ti Spring. - for persons 180 – 210 lbs

My weight is just right between: 180-185lbs (without armor and helmet etc.)
My riding skills are not extra great, just starting with DH and FR so I do not jump or drop big stuff.

And the question is:
Which spring would be the best for me? Green or Blue?

I don't know your riding style but would recommend you running the green spring sans preload.

With gear on (here I assume you are not a nudist rider) you will be hitting 187-188lbs?

The best way to find out is to test them both, switch springs between your forks rather than switching forks and check what kind of sag you are getting.

When checking sag, do it in your full riding gear.

im 165 lbs. and i run a purple spring, and i very very rarely bottom. although i would like a blue spring i think that purple is fine for me. on the other hand my firend has a green spring in his and hes basically the same weight as me. so i think it all comes down to preference

Yes, the spring-color-to-rider-weight-ratio was given by the author of this thread in the first post, I think he got the hang of it.
