Well I shot myself in the foot...again, just got my new marathon fork, installed it got everything working smooth on my Ventana. I haven't ridden it forever & have since upgraded the rocker link to the 3-4-5 link, well i filled the rear Fox float shock up with air the other day & never removed the Risse adapter thing from the schraeder valve because I figured the pressure would need some adjustment. Well, bad move cause when I compressed the rear end the new rocker hit the Risse adapter splitting the schrader valve in 2 and letting all the air out. My ? to you is are the thread-in schraeder valves hard to come by? they look like a pretty standard part. I think that's an SAE thread since the nut size is SAE so can I get those at a hardwear store or something? I'm gonna call fox in a little bit & ask them but wanted an independant opinion as well. thanks!
