I just recently got my new fox fork front shock. Before I left my LBS I asked the wrench monkey: Why my shock is making a suction sound when it rebounds. He said that it is a common thing on those forks. My question is "dose anyone else have this problem with theres. If they have what can I do to stop it?"

It's as common as it can be...

It's not a problem, really. It's just the sound of the oil getting sucked back into the fork - the slower the rebound, the noisier it is. Happens on many, if not most forks.

Nothing you can do about it, but you will only notice it when you're pusing on the fork at a stand still.. You'll never hear it on the trail.

sometimes you can eliminate it by adjusting the damping slightly. It may be topping out.
