SEPTEMBER 07, 2004 -- IRVINE, CA (BRAIN)--Consumers next year will see fashion sunglasses by apparel manufacturer Fox Racing, thanks to an exclusive four-year eyewear licensing agreement the company recently signed with Oakley. The agreement includes sunglasses, goggles and prescription eyewear.

"Oakley is hands down the most technically innovative brand in the eyewear industry," said Pete Fox, Fox Racing's creative officer. "We're excited to have the opportunity to design fashion eyewear and performance goggles that feature Oakley technology because we know they'll be the best on the market."

Fox Eyewear will be designed by Fox and Oakley. Oakley will manufacture the glasses using its proprietary lenses.

"Fox is the most recognized and best-selling brand of motocross apparel in the world," said Jim Jannard, Oakley's chief executive officer. "Additionally, Fox has deep roots in action sports and is highly respected by the fashion-conscious youth-lifestyle market. Our new collaborative partnership will allow us to combine our experience and design capabilities to develop sunglasses and goggles bearing the Fox logo for this key target demographic. This license will also allow us to leverage our manufacturing and distribution infrastructure around the world."

Fox Eyewear will be sold globally through motocross, surf, skate and snow retail channels with retail price points expecting in the $90 to $120 range.
